Personal Journey
Curiosity didn’t kill the cat; mediocrity did. Just kidding. That sounds like a lame dad joke. Seriously, though, mediocrity is the worst.
I see mediocrity all around me: mediocre lives, relationships, work, products, and services. Honestly, it’s surprising when I don’t witness mediocrity. Most people work just hard enough to get by.
Mediocrity is a trap, and it's easy to fall into. It requires no effort, no ambition, and no drive. It’s a state of complacency, a comfort zone that anyone can slip into. But let's be clear, I’m not talking about being mediocre at a skill that’s beyond our reach. I’m talking about settling for less than our best, about not giving our all in everything we do.
The good news is you don’t have to be mediocre. And if you aren’t, you’ll stand out.
